This internship position primarily collaborates with the Advancement Athletics staff to provide a well-rounded experience in assisting with, supporting, marketing and executing events associated with The Braves Club. The internship experience will provide exposure to daily operations of the Advancement and Athletic departments, including event management, event planning, marketing and communication.

Position Responsibilities: 

• Assist in the planning and in-person execution of game-day logistics for Bradley home basketball games, including fan engagement, revenue generating promotions and facility set-up. 
• Contribute to the creation of social media content in support of dedicated events. 
• Participate in pre-game and post-game activities as needed. 
• Assist in the planning and execution of athletic fundraising events.
• Other duties as needed.

This position looks to provide valuable experience to Bradley students who are interested in athletics, marketing, social media and Advancement work. The position will be flexible in its time commitment, up to no more than 10 hours per week, which includes attendance at all men’s home basketball games. This experience will be fully supported by the professional staff of the Advancement Office. 

Position Qualifications: 

• LOCAL TO PEORIA AREA  – there will be events over school breaks.
• UNDERGRADUATE  – Open to freshmen, sophomores, juniors and seniors
• Pleasant, courteous, and professional customer service skills. 
• Demonstrates excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Demonstrates excellent organizational skills with ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. 
• Demonstrates ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative fashion.
• Timely in the completion of tasks. 
• Maintains the highest level of confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
