Posting Summary

Assistant Coach reports to the Head Coach and is responsible to assist in all aspects of coaching the sport including guiding, educating, developing, and recruiting, student-athletes to achieve their fullest potential with the fundamental characteristics and requirements that are necessary to conduct and produce a successful and highly competitive university intercollegiate program while instilling the importance of academic achievements at the Division III level. Methods, procedures, and philosophies are to be conducted in accordance with University, NCAA, ECAC, and NJAC rules and regulations

Qualifications

Minimum Education and Experience

•Requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.•Requires up to two years relevant experience in an administrative function, good communication and interpersonal skills, and computer literacy.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Previous experience in a coaching, mentoring, teaching capacity. Familiar with strategies both on and off the field.

Immunization Requirements

Under Policy 60.1.35 Immunization Policy for Rutgers Employees and Prospective Employees, Rutgers University requires all prospective employees to provide proof that they are vaccinated against COVID-19 prior to commencement of employment, unless the University has granted the individual a medical or religious exemption.
