Essential Functions
Reach out to donors and prospects to secure donations and ticket renewals/sales primarily through phone calls, face to face visits and emails.
Identify new and cultivate/steward existing introductory-to-high level athletics donors.
Serve as primary athletics contact for a portfolio of approximately 750+ mid-level annual donors and major gift prospects.
Meet and exceed personal fundraising metrics and contribute to team goals.
Assist with Athletic Department’s premium sales and stewardship management needs.
Advance the John Purdue Club (JPC) membership, marketing, and communications efforts, while furthering the overarching Athletics Department goal of developing student-athletes into scholars, champions, and citizens.
Some travel, night and weekend work required.

John Purdue Club
Advance the John Purdue Club (JPC) membership, marketing, and communications efforts, while furthering the overarching Athletics Department goal of developing student-athletes into scholars, champions, and citizens.
Work with major gift team to qualify major gift prospects.
Assist with special JPC events, both on and off campus.

Personal computing and related software skills, such as word processing, spreadsheets, database management, data queries necessary.
Capable of adhering to and complying with Purdue University, Purdue Research Foundation, Big Ten Conference, and NCAA applicable rules, policies, procedures, and regulations.
Ability to build relationships with internal and external constituents.
Regular and reliable attendance are requirements of this position.
Required Education/Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Sports Management/Administration, Hospitality and Tourism management or related field required.
Minimum of two years of fundraising, sales, marketing, and customer service.
Customer service focus and background a high priority.
Athletic fundraising or sales experience preferred.
