General Description** :**
The Assistant Director of Ticket Operations assists with all major Ticket Office activities including, but not limited to, acting as primary ticketing coordinator for Football & Baseball; supervising complimentary ticketing procedures for players, recruits, term employees, visiting teams; creating seating manifests for neutral site and away games for all ticketed sports; and other duties as assigned.

Assistant Director of Ticket Operations
General Description** :**
The Assistant Director of Ticket Operations assists with all major Ticket Office activities including, but not limited to, acting as primary ticketing coordinator for Football & Baseball; supervising complimentary ticketing procedures for players, recruits, term employees, visiting teams; creating seating manifests for neutral site and away games for all ticketed sports; and other duties as assigned.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Football
Enforces NCAA regulations at approximately 10-15 home and away athletic contests to include recruits, high school coaches, players’ families, general public, boosters, and donors. Provides conflict resolution and authorizes any corrective actions.
Responsible for the managing and allocating of all tickets for away football and bowl games. This ticket inventory will represent over $4,000,000 dollars in ticket sales. These tickets will need to be allocated based on the current Tennessee Fund priority seating policy.
Responsible for creation and implementation of neutral site/away game football venues based on manifests provided from host schools/venues.
Acts as primary liaison for Letterman's Club & VFL organization.
Responsible for printing and mailing of single game ticket orders.
Reports any potential SEC and NCAA rules violations to the Director of Ticket Operations or Compliance Coordinator.
Baseball
Responsible for the season set up of ticketing software for assigned sport, which includes the setup of season ticket applications, the setup of sale controls for access by telephone and front counter customer reps, and preparation of individual game sales for telephone and front counter sales.
Enforces NCAA regulations at approximately 30-40 home and away athletic contests to include recruits, high school coaches, players’ families, general public, boosters, and donors. Provides conflict resolution and authorizes any corrective actions.
Responsible for printing and mailing of single game ticket orders.
Reports any potential SEC and NCAA rules violations to the Associate AD of Ticket Operations or Associate AD for Compliance.
Management of Ticket Office Information phone messaging, which includes information pertaining to University of Tennessee athletic events occurring home, away, or at neutral site locations.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree is required; Master’s Degree in Sport Management is preferred.
Experience:** **
1 year of full-time experience working in a Collegiate Athletic Ticket Office is required. 2-4 years of full-time experience working in a Collegiate Athletic Ticket Office is preferred.
Skills:
Knowledge of Ticketmaster System applications.
Knowledge of NCAA rules as they pertain to intercollegiate ticket operations.
Ability to communicate, both orally and in writing, with varied constituents; general public, students, coaches, administrators.
Excellent organizational and customer service skills.
Ability to make independent decisions; no supervision.
Ability to handle cash, checks and credit card sales.
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in fast-paced work environment.
Ability to travel as required.
