DEPARTMENT OF ATHLETICS

POSITION SUMMARY:
The part-time assistant Men’s Basketball Coach will help plan and administer all facets of the basketball program.

PRIMARY DUTIES:

• Assist the men’s basketball staff in planning practice and game strategies & on-the-floor coaching;
• Coordinate travel;
• Assist in monitoring academics, coordinating camps, etc.

SECONDARY DUTIES :

• Monitor student-athletes that live in on-campus housing;
• Assistant coach to live on campus;
• Other duties as assigned by the Head Men’s Basketball Coach and/or the Athletic Director.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree with experience in coaching basketball.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

• A demonstrated knowledge of the day-to-day operations of an athletics department;
• A proven record of following directives and being responsible for tasks that have been assigned.
