Job Summary
Associate Director of In-Venue Production – Senior Producer is responsible for video idea development, creation and production for in-venue video content. Responsible for shooting, producing, directing and editing of video content for internal and external areas of Purdue Athletics. They will coordinate with sport creative services, directors of operations, sport administrators and the Director of In-Venue Production to deliver high quality in-venue team intro videos, personality videos and ticket commercials.
Required:
Bachelor’s degree
4-5 years of experience working in video production
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, within groups and individually.
Working knowledge of production process.
Working knowledge of applicable creative software applications including the Adobe Creative Suite.
Working knowledge to maintain files and image storage.
Proficient in using video cameras to shoot footage as well as setting up equipment such as lighting or backdrops.
Ability to edit footage to use for a variety of formats including television and internet.
Ability to manage projects from concept to creation.
Interpersonal communication skills to interact effectively with a variety of clients, support staff and vendors.
Ability to accept feedback as part of the creative process and educate clients on design theory and/or using that feedback to make work stronger.
Skills in collaboration to best meet goals and objectives of clients.
Must maintain current knowledge of applicable rules and standards of the Big Ten Conference, the NCAA as well as the Big Ten Network.
May be required to work extend hours including nights, weekends and holidays.
Preferred:
Degree field of study in Video Production, Video Technology, Broadcasting, Radio and Television or related degree field
