The Athletics Department at Marist College invites applications for a full-time, 12-month position as the Associate Director, Sports Information/Coordinator Social Media. This position works under the direction of the Associate Athletic Director/External in preparing, collecting and disseminating sports data in a timely manner for all 23 Division I programs. This position must complete publication assignments on a timely basis, organize and maintain sports information and photo archives, including maintenance of website and responsible for coordination of all Athletics department social media.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Communications, Liberal Arts, or related field 1 - 3 years of related work experience

Essential Functions:

Design graphics for Athletics website, social media platforms, and various publications.       Develop social media strategy, oversee the development and execution of social media platforms, ensure consistency in social media messaging, and use social media to promote teams, student-athletes, and upcoming events.     Prepare Athletics press releases and statistics for website and media outlets. Prepare Athletics publications, brochures, and game programs for sports as assigned.   Maintain web page for department’s official website.        Work home games for assigned sports with travel as necessary.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's degree in Communications, Liberal Arts, or related field  Previous experience in college athletics is strongly preferred

Voluntary, up to IRS maximum contribution. Tuition Benefits: Up to 16 undergraduate credits per semester. Up to 18 graduate credit per academic calendar. Eligibility extends to employee, spouse, and dependent children under age 26. College pays 100% tuition only. Eligible dependents may be Reimbursed up to $2,000 per semester towards tuition at another accredited institution. *Eligibility requirements including waiting periods and/or employee probationary periods may apply at the discretion of the College.
