The Assistant AD, General Manager (GM) for Women's Basketball oversees daily operations of the Virginia Tech Women’s Basketball organization, helping to execute program goals while upholding standards for Virginia Tech Women’s Basketball and Virginia Tech Athletics. Assist the Head Coach with strategic planning, including roster management, fundraising, resource planning, and personnel management. This position reports directly to the Head Coach / Women's Basketball.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree with significant related experience or a master’s degree.
Budget oversight experience.
Strategic thinker who can balance short-term needs with long-term program building.
Strong analytical skills and proven ability to utilize data to drive decision making.
Excellent communication and leadership abilities, including ability to manage diverse personalities.
Commitment to inclusion.
Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with coaches, student-athletes, third parties, and university administrators.

Preferred Qualifications

Significant experience in a NCAA Division I basketball program and/or professional sports industry.
Advanced degree in sports management or related field.
