Assistant Building Services Foreman

Qualifications
Duties/Responsibilities:
This position is fully trained in all aspects of general cleaning; able to do carpet shampooing, hard floor maintenance, recycling, lavatory cleaning, office cleaning, and all routine cleaning procedures. The position is skilled in training new employees, inspecting buildings, computer literate, with a clean record.
Assists with supervising custodial employees in a building or group of buildings as directed. Inspects areas cleaned by contractors and university staff to make sure standards are being met. Inspects buildings making sure buildings are clean. The person in this position will also fill in for Building Services Foreman in his/her absence. Keeps records and enters data; assists in the training of employees.
Minimum/Required Qualifications:
Valid Tennessee Driver’s License
Two years of custodial experience
Applicant should be clean and neat in appearance. This position requires physical work.
