Job Summary

The University of North Georgia is currently accepting applications for a Department of Counseling & Athletics Graduate Assistant on the Dahlonega campus. This position will assist with the holistic mental health along with academic support to UNG student-athletes.

Responsibilities

  • Provide mental health screening for student-athletes.
  • Conduct appropriate mental health referrals and consult with clinical staff as required.
  • Provide developmental academic advisement to student-athletes.
  • Assist with academic counseling.
  • Provide wellness and mental health education to student-athletes.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Counseling Department Head.
  • Participate in weekly supervision and engage in training and development as required.
