Position Summary Information
| Position Summary |
The Deputy Director of Athletics / Chief Revenue Officer serves as a member of the Athletics Department senior leadership team. As the Chief Revenue Officer for Athletics, will lead a comprehensive revenue generation program and manage all aspects of the fundraising programs for Athletics. The incumbent oversees sponsorships, ticketing, Name Image Likeness (NIL), and alumni relations. Responsible for the strategic development and execution of initiatives within these areas.
Austin Peay State University is a four-year public, doctoral-level university, with six colleges and four Chairs of Excellence. The University has an enrollment of over 9,000 students and is located in Clarksville, Tennessee, a community of an estimated 166,000 people located approximately 40 miles northwest of Nashville, TN.

| Primary Duties and Responsibilities |
- Serve as a member of the VP/AD’s Cabinet and Athletics Department Executive Staff
- Responsible for all major gifts in athletics over $20K.
- Lead a comprehensive development program that supports Athletics’ strategic priorities.
- Liaison with Sabertooth Sports and Entertainment
- Oversight of Athletics Capital Facility Projects
- The growth and expansion of our NIL/Collective
- Oversight of Athletics Annual Giving and the Monocle Society
- Schedule and Coordinate development travel for VP/AD, Coaches and other athletics fundraisers
- Work and assist with the hosting of all sporting events

- Demonstrated success in cultivation and closure of major gifts or lead annual gifts from benefactors.

| Physical Requirements |
- Sedentary Work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.

| Required Minimum Qualifications |
- Bachelor’s Degree
- A minimum of three (3) years of Development experience, preferably in Division 1 athletics
- A backgroundcheck will be required of the successful applicant.
