Job Description Summary

The Development Fellow for Annual Giving position will strategically manage a prospect list, handle a limited portfolio of donor prospects, and provide reporting to the Athletics Development team. They will ensure up-to-date prospect information is obtained, assign donors based on philanthropic requests, and personally engage in donor acquisition.

This is a fixed term position beginning on/around July 1, 2025 and concluding April 30, 2026.

Job Description

Essential Functions:

• Drive revenue-producing activity among Calling Officers (CO) through portfolio management; ensure the CO has updated information for each prospect.

• Manage monthly new donor assignments to ensure all donors have an individual calling representative.

• Perform donor acquisition and qualification calls with prospects based on leads assembled through targeted micro-campaigns.

• Achieve a delivery goal of 25, $50,000 proposals for the fiscal year; develop proposals tailored to individual donor interests.

• Prospect event lists and games; share assigned prospects with appropriate CO’s and connect with unassigned prospects.

• Manage a limited portfolio of donor prospects.

• Perform weekly ILC reporting and distribution.

• Other duties as assigned.

Required Education, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

• Bachelors Degree

• Experience with Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Canva

• Ability to maintain confidential information

• Ability to organize workflow, manage resources, and coordinate activities

• Effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing; strong interpersonal skills

• Ability to work collaboratively with all members of a diverse community to manage a variety of tasks and projects with follow through and completion in a timely manner.
