This new role will help the University—particularly Athletics and Performing Arts—monetize its strong online presence through strategic sponsorships, branded media, and new digital content opportunities.
Working collaboratively across Marketing, Athletics, Performing Arts, and Advancement, this position will design partnership strategies that amplify our mission, grow our audience, and generate measurable returns.
Responsibilities
Develop and manage a sponsored media program offering logo placements, mentions, and integrations across social media, live event coverage, and web platforms
Identify and execute monetization strategies for social media, live and recorded event coverage, and high-traffic digital content, including university websites
Create tiered partnership packages with Advancement, defining deliverables and demonstrating ROI for sponsors
Collaborate with creative teams to produce engaging sponsored content such as videos, user-generated content, press releases, podcasts, etc
Track and analyze engagement, reach, and revenue metrics to guide strategy and growth
Benchmark peer institutions and emerging trends to identify new digital revenue opportunities

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field
3+ years’ experience in digital marketing, sponsorships, or partnerships
Strong understanding of social media strategy, analytics, and storytelling
Excellent communication, negotiation, and collaboration skills
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively under pressure
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in collegiate athletics, media, or entertainment marketing preferred
