This position is responsible for developing, directing, implementing and maintaining a comprehensive compliance program for assigned Olympic sports and areas that will ensure the institution’s adherence to Southeastern Conference and NCAA regulations. | | Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies |
- Working knowledge of NCAA rules and compliance practices, with a particular emphasis on personnel and recruiting rules. - Experience with NCAA technological processes such as RSRO and LSDBi. - Experience with recruiting software (e.g., Compliance + Recruiting, Teamworks). - Excellent research and written/oral communication skills. - Keen attention to detail and organizational skills.

Oversee and monitor the day-to day recruiting activities of all sports to ensure compliance with NCAA and SEC rules, including, without limitation, overseeing and monitoring the reimbursement of prospective student-athletes and sport staff expenditures to prevent the provision of impermissible benefits to prospective student-athletes, directing and monitoring official and unofficial visit processes, monitoring recruiting service subscriptions, monitoring contact (in-person, phone, and correspondence) with and evaluation of prospective student-athletes, camps and clinics, monitoring coaches and staff employment at local sports clubs, and administration of the NCAA coaches recruiting examination. | | Percentage of time | 60 |

Serve as the primary compliance liaison for assigned Olympic sports and additional areas (e.g., Business Office, Equipment). Work closely with assigned coaches and staff in assigned sports and areas to ensure compliance with NCAA and SEC rules and regulations, including providing rules education, making interpretive determinations, responding to interpretive inquiries, requesting waivers from the NCAA and SEC, and investigating, determining, and reporting rules violations. | | Percentage of time | 20 |

Serve as primary liaison to compliance software partners (e.g., Compliance + Recruiting, Teamworks). Assist in developing compliance processes within the software.
