Lead and build a team of professionals in delivery of services in mental health and sports performance and develop a vision and plan for further enhancing program capacity to meet the mental health and performance psychology needs of student-athletes.
Required:
Doctorate degree in clinical or counseling psychology or a related field, Degrees could include Sports Psychology, Sport and PE Administration, Physical Education, Teacher Education, Coaching, Adapted Physical Education.
Licensed or license-eligible to practice independently as a mental health provider in the state of Indiana.

Two years’ clinical experience
Experience working directly with collegiate Student-Athletes
Training (e.g., degree or specialization) in sport psychology or a related field and experience in providing sport psychology/mental performance services.
Demonstrated experience working with diverse clinical presentations and a diverse student-athlete population.
Commitment to diversity and demonstrated competency in multicultural counseling skills.
Excellent communication skills (verbally and in writing)
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to communicate and interact closely with Student-Athletes, coaching staffs, administration, and associated medical care personnel.
Maintain ethical and timely record keeping.
Ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, coaches, and administrative personnel as a member of a multidisciplinary treatment team.
Ability to work evenings & weekends.
Ability to travel.
Compliance with all NCAA, Conference and Institutional rules and regulations.
Preferred:
Five years’ clinical experience
Master’s degree in counseling, social work, or marriage and family therapy with related supervised and professional work experiences
Prior experience working with student-athlete populations in a Division I athletic department
