The University of Virginia is a highly competitive Division I program committed to academic and athletic excellence. The Department of Athletics at the University of Virginia is now accepting applications for the position of Director of Creative Design to support the Football program.

The Director of Creative Design is responsible for developing and executing social media campaigns for the program. Acts as a valuable resource for creative solutions and communications in developing and executing social and digital strategy.

The Director of Creative Design will be responsible for duties including, but not limited to:

  • Develop and coordinate weekly graphic plans for social media platforms and football recruits.

  • Create visual content (photo and design) for all digital platforms.

  • Setup and execute photoshoots for prospective student-athletes for official and unofficial visits.

  • Collaborate with colleagues on specific football recruiting content. 

  • Assist with creative equipment management.

  • Assist with organization of student creative assistant program. 

  • Attend all recruiting meetings, staff meetings, and content creative meetings with Athletic Department colleagues. 

  • Assist in promoting an atmosphere of compliance. Get approvals from the Compliance Staff before acting to ensure actions are consistent with ACC and NCAA rules.

  • Other duties assigned by the Head Coach or designee.
