Under general supervision of the Chief Operating Officer, the Director of Football Research and Business Operations will be responsible for conducting research to support decision-making across football operations. They will collaborate closely with coaches, scouts, player personnel staff, and operations staff to enhance our team's competitive advantage through innovative strategies and evidence-based decision-making. Will additionally maintain documentation related to recruitment activities, and coordinates with compliance staff to ensure activities associated with on-campus recruiting and unofficial on-campus visits are in compliance with University, NCAA, and Big Ten recruitment regulation.

Minimum of one to three years of football coaching, recruiting or administrative experience at the high school, collegiate or professional level. (Required)

Ability to interact diplomatically with individuals of various social, economic, cultural, and educational backgrounds. (Required)
Superior public relations skills, including outstanding interpersonal skills to establish and maintain effective working relationships and correspondence with staff, faculty, media, recruits, visiting coaches, donors, parents and Conference and NCAA officials. (Required)
