Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree

3-5 years of relevant work experience

Valid driver's license

Essential Functions:

Evaluation and recruitment of qualified student-athletes with the potential for academic and athletic success.

Oversee the plan for each of the women’s and men’s tennis season, including competitive schedule and practices, i.e., scheduling facilities, administration of practice schedule, overseeing travel arrangements for away competition, any necessary communication with officials.

Ensure compliance of the program with all NCAA, MAAC and Marist College rules, regulations, and policies.

Supervise and evaluate assistant coaches and other staff as assigned. Direct and coordinate the activities of assistant coaches in recruiting, team management and practice and game planning.

Manage operating budget. Determine fiscal requirements and prepare budgetary recommendations; monitor, verify and reconcile expenditures of budgeted funds.

Assist as needed to raise funds to support the women’s and men’s tennis program and Department.

Take part in scheduled compliance education sessions.

Attend and participate, in full regalia, the undergraduate commencement ceremonies at the end of each academic year.

403(b) Tax Deferred Annuity – Roth option available. Voluntary, up to IRS maximum contribution.

Tuition Benefits:

Up to 16 undergraduate credits per semester. Up to 18 graduate credit per academic calendar. Eligibility extends to employee, spouse, and dependent children under age 26.

College pays 100% tuition only.

Eligible dependents may be Reimbursed up to $2,000 per semester towards tuition at another accredited institution.

*Eligibility requirements including waiting periods and/or employee probationary periods may apply at the discretion of the College.
