Job Description
Provide executive-level administrative support to the Director of Athletics. The Executive Assistant will monitor the daily operations of the Office of the Athletic Director and will manage the preparation and professional engagements of the Athletic Director. The position will interface with executive-level institutional offices, alumni, and community partners. A high degree of confidentiality and discretion is required.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree and 5-7 years of office administration experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point
Excellent grammar and editing/proofreading skills

Responsibilities
Represent the Athletic Director and oversee the daily operation of the Office of the Athletric Director using discretion and independent judgment. Manage access and communications between the Athletic Director and University colleagues, alumni, and community partners.
Manage the Athletic Director’s calendar, organize meetings, events, travel arrangements, and other activities. This includes interfacing with key constituienties including donars, coaches, trustees, University administrators, community members, and the press.
Complete administrative support work for the Athletic Director and assist with the maintenance and distribution of information, files. and communications between departments.
Draft communications and presentations to prepare the AD for all professional appearances and work with the University and Athletics Communication Offices to develop communications to the Athletics Department, campus, and greater communities.
Manage key projects and troubleshoot issues via phone and meetings with constituents using active listening skills; analyze situations and determine best course of action for priotity and issue resolution; keep AD apprised of developments.
