Position Summary:

Florida Atlantic University is seeking a Football Nutritionist. - Boca Raton, FL.

Summary of responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations and logistics, as they relate to football nutrition

• Work to oversee meal ordering and menu development

• Conducts individual consultations with football athletes

• Screens supplements for safe use due to NCAA guidelines

• Conducts and analyses body composition testing via inbody scans

• Work in collaboration with the Chief of Staff to oversee the budget

• Work in collaboration with the Chief of Staff to procure vendors and to maintain relationships/communications with the vendors

• Manage and supervise all aspects of operations of Nutrition Center and assigned Fueling Stations including managing student-volunteers/interns/work study, product inventory, ordering, receiving, and distribution in conjunction with the Football Nutrition Fellow

• Maintain effective communication with coaching staff, athletic trainers, strength staff and other individuals from the Athletic Department on any nutrition related matter.

• Serve our student-athletes with a positive, welcoming, and committed attitude

• Perform other job related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

Master's degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate area of specialization; or a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate area of specialization required.

Salary:

$45,000 - $55,000 per year.
