Graduate Assistant for Men’s Basketball

Briar Cliff University is seeking qualified applicants for a men’s basketball graduate assistant position.  This position starts in the 2025/26 academic year.  This position will be responsible for assisting the men’s basketball coach in the areas of recruiting, practice and game planning and management, conducting individual workouts, video coordinating and film breakdown, and the overall administration of the program. This position will also serve as the head coach for the junior varsity team.

The position includes tuition remission, a stipend, and free housing (if available).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree

• Admitted to the Briar Cliff University graduate school program.

• Experience either playing college basketball or coaching at the high school or college level is preferred.

• Valid Driver’s license is required.

• Successfully complete a background check.
