The purpose of the Graduate Assistant is to assist in the overall communications operations for the university's 20 NAIA varsity programs. This position will allow you to utilize your skills on the job, and in the classroom, as you pursue your Master’s degree.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Provide statistical coverage and historical records of Olivet's athletic events as required by the NAIA.
Assist in disseminating of all forms of information (press releases, videos, photographs, graphics, etc.) via Olivet’s athletics website, social media outlets, and local or national media.
Assist in all aspects of the pre-game, in-game, and post-game activities.
Assist in the preparation and design of all media guides, official game programs, recruiting brochures, and all other promotional and marketing materials for the athletic department and staff.

Experience with statistical programs (StatCrew, Presto, DakStats, Finish Lynx, etc.)
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communications skills (verbal and written) in order to work with a diverse campus community
A valid driver's license is also required.

Bachelor’s Degree is required WORK ENVIRONMENT
Some travel is suggested, but not required. Evening, night, and weekend work, however, is required.
