Description of Ongoing/New Duties
Responsibilities
: Administer all aspects of the volleyball program. The head coach position will manage and oversee the daily operations of the volleyball program including; practice, game day activities, recruiting, budget management, fundraising, academic monitoring and mentoring of student-athletes. The head coach will recruit and retain a roster of 20 student-athletes, who are expected to be successful in the classroom, socially responsible, and competitive within the Mountain East Conference and
NCAA
Division II. Conduct assigned duties in accordance with all University System of Maryland, Frostburg State University,
NCAA
, and Conference Affiliate policies and procedures. Other work-related duties as assigned. Candidates must demonstrate a commitment to overall departmental philosophy and collaboration.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree, 3-5 years coaching experience at the collegiate level or above. Knowledge of
NCAA
rules and regulations. Proven ability to recruit student-athletes.
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree.
