Minimum Requirements:

Minimum of high school diploma and one year experience.Minimum of 21 years of age.USA Citizenship at time of appointment.To be eligible for appointment candidates cannot have been convicted of a felony or misdemeanor domestic violence crime as set forth in 18 U.S.C. & 992 (g) (8) and (9).Successful completion of background investigation.

Position Description:

The Traffic Control Officer positions will be responsible for patrolling at assigned locations during University of Louisville athletic events for non-moving violations and making accident reports, as well as overseeing assigned Traffic Guards. This position will report to assigned Traffic Supervisor.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform patrol work of assigned areas for non-moving violations.
• Investigate reported accidents and make accident reports.
• Direct flow of vehicle and pedestrian traffic during emergencies.
