Learning objectives for the NIL Intern include, but are not limited to:
Develop fundamental understanding of educational and transactional needs University of Louisville student-athletes have in pursuing NIL opportunities
Gain project management experience and subject-matter awareness with NIL educational curriculum and resources for student-athletes to develop their acumen in business transactions, contracts, negotiations, marketing, social media, taxes, and other areas.
Foster positive and constructive relationships with various third-parties including university partners, business owners, donors, prospects, parents/guardians, subject matter experts, and other stakeholders.
Gain experience and advanced understanding of NIL transactional impacts including in the areas of licensing, intellectual property, and facilities use.
Develop effective working relationships and communication skills with staff in other University athletic and campus units in support of NIL initiatives.
