POSITION SUMMARY:

The NCAA Live Stats Volleyball Statistician is responsible for live in-game stat input for Vanguard University home games in the sports men’s and women’s volleyball. This role requires working with the NCAA Genius Sports platform to ensure accurate, real-time statistical entry during competitions. This position reports to the Assistant Athletic Director for Communications.

Essential Functions:

• Serve as the primary statistician for assigned home games using the NCAA Genius Sports software.
• Arrive a minimum of 45 minutes to an hour prior to the scheduled game time to prepare equipment and review assignments.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Essential Functions:

• Serve as the primary statistician for assigned home games using the NCAA Genius Sports software.
• Arrive a minimum of 45 minutes to an hour prior to the scheduled game time to prepare equipment and review assignments.
• Accurately input statistics using sport-specific knowledge and Genius Sports program functionality.
• Collaborate with the Assistant Athletic Director for Communications to report and resolve any technical issues, discrepancies, or post-game edits.
• Maintain a high level of accuracy and focus during fast-paced game environments.
• Ability and Availability to commit to working 16 home women’s volleyball (September to November) and 15 men’s volleyball (January to April) contests during the season.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum two years of experience using NCAA Genius Sports stat software (preferred).
• Strong knowledge of rules, gameplay, and stat interpretation for Volleyball.
• Ability to maintain professionalism under pressure and assist with conflict resolution if needed.
• Strong attention to detail and reliability.
• Ability to work nights and weekends.
• Commitment to the success of intercollegiate athletics and student-athletes.
• Understanding and alignment with the mission and values of Vanguard University.

Salary: Sesaonal Temporary Hourly position ($25-$35) or independent contractor agreement.
