JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

The Pennsylvania University Intercollegiate Athletics department is hiring Part-Time Event Management Interns to assist with all aspects of event management for all regular season intercollegiate home athletic events. Duties include but not limited to: hang up/take down flags; distribute/college event equipment; sign in event staff; ensure proper set up/tear down for event; greeting visiting team/officials and escort to locker rooms; pay officials; direct security and other event staff as needed; take attendance and ensure a safe, fun, enjoyable environment for all participants. Some prep/wrap up work in the office may be required. Special projects will include assisting with all aspects of possible Special Events and Big Ten/EIVA/CHA/NCAA Championships and Tournaments.
