JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Penn State Athletics seeks to hire a Part-Time Office Assistant. This position working in the office to coordinate the hiring, onboarding and communication with our football and non-football part-time event staff. Duties to include answering emails and voicemails about the hiring process as well as assisting with the hiring process including meeting with potential and current employees; assisting with the payroll process for the events and communicating with the event staff on annual training requirements, scheduling, special events opportunities, etc. This position will also help with maintaining the various database systems for the different sport event staff and assisting with termination process for departed event staff.
Hours would be approximately 20 hours per week part-time during the day Monday – Friday with some evening and weekend hours required. Working Home Football Saturdays is a requirement for this position.
