Position Information:
• The Pitching Coach will be responsible for assisting the head coach in organizing and managing the pitching staff including recruiting and player development on and off the field
• Responsible for developing pitching staff and setting up and overseeing individual pitcher/catcher workouts
Key Competencies:
• Excellent communication skills & strong organizational skills
• Deep knowledge of the sport & pitching
• Ability to provide constructive feedback while motivating student athletes
• Support head coach’s vision
• Effective interpersonal skills, including the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment and with students, faculty, staff, and community members with diverse backgrounds
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree
Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree
• Successful Pitching Experience at the collegiate level
• Coaching experience at the high school or collegiate level preferred in pitching
