Reserve Team Graduate Assistant, Women's Soccer

Position Summary

The role of the Reserve Team Grad Assistant Coach is to manage the daily functions of the women’s reserve soccer program. All Coaching staff are expected to dress in a professional manner. During practices shorts and T-shirts are appropriate but attempt to distinguish yourself from the players as much as possible. Tennis Shoes, cleats, and indoor shoes are the expected footwear for games and practices.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

In Season

1. Designing and implementing specific practice elements.
2. Attend all games and training dates.
3. Fostering and building good mentor relations with players
4. Helping to set up the field on game days and tearing it down, this usually means being ½ to 1 hour early prior to field players arrival and departure.
5. Drive on Road Trips.
6. Keep Athletic Trainers and other Coaching staff updated with observed injuries or fatigue.
7. Help make sure the players and facilities always look sharp.
8. Pick up lunches when requested on game days.
9. Scheduling and recruiting.

Off Season (January – May)

1. Evaluate and meet with each Reserve team player
2. Assist with Recruiting (be at all recruit weekends)
3. Attend all training sessions
4. Work through recruiting lists
5. Assist with Winter and Summer Camps
6. Help other GA coordinate Concessions & fund raising

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required

1. A lifestyle in agreement with the ONU Statement of Mission, Faith, and Lifestyle Covenant.
   
2. Must complete NAIA Coaching Module

SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION
1.Tuition Scholarship to complete graduate degree in our School of Graduate and Continuing Studies.
2. This position pays $700/ month for 1 year program and $1,200/month for 2 year program
