Job Description

The University of Nevada, Las Vegas invites applications for Senior/Associate Athletic Director, NCAA Compliance and Student Services

ROLE of the POSITION

This role reports directly to the Senior Deputy Athletics Director, Chief Operating Officer and will oversee the day-to-day operations of the NCAA Compliance office. The position is responsible for managing the entirety of the NCAA compliance functions, implementing a robust education platform, and enforcing NCAA, Mountain West Conference (MWC), and University rules and regulations for student-athletes, coaches, staff members, and donors. Furthermore, the position will maintain student-athlete files and records while handling required NCAA and MWC reporting. Additionally, this position has oversight with respect to NCAA rules and regulations primarily related to financial aid. This position should have strong knowledge of NCAA rules as it pertains to assigned job duties and the scope of employment. Finally, the role will provide ad hoc reporting on compliance functions to the Director of Athletics, Senior Deputy Athletic Director, and University Counsel as requested.
