Job Description

The University of Nevada, Las Vegas invites applications for Sr Associate Athletic Director, SWA and Career Development

ROLE of the POSITION

The  Sr Associate Athletics Director/SWA and Career Development position participates as a member of the UNLV Athletics Executive Staff and is expected to share the responsibility of representing the Athletics Department with the NCAA conference, the MW conference, the WAC, the UNLV campus and the Las Vegas community.  As part of the senior leadership team, this position offers direct support to the Director of Athletics; offering strategic planning and leadership while assisting with goal setting in alignment with department priorities.  This position offers direction and leadership for the advancement of all athletic programs within the department with a special awareness of the advancement of Olympic sports programs.  This includes acting as the department’s Deputy Title IX Coordinator with UNLV’s Office of Equal Employment and Title IX.  Oversight for the department’s internal gender equity plan/Title IX treatment areas is necessary to ensure compliance with regulations and continued growth for the Department.
