Summary of Responsibilities
Execute strategic and innovative marketing and communications campaigns, resulting in increased Revenue Generation / Ticket Sales, Fan Experience, Social Media / Broadcasting, Brand Awareness, Innovation / Creativity, Student-Athlete Experience, Community Outreach, and Attendance;
Execute digital and social marketing campaigns (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Email, Website, etc.), utilizing owned, paid, and earned media for designated intercollegiate athletic sports and programs. Campaigns include a clear understanding of KPIs to drive and optimize target reach, engagement, and conversion across multiple audience types in a time-sensitive manner, focusing on Revenue Generation / Ticket Sales, Fan Experience, Social Media / Broadcasting, Brand Awareness, Innovation / Creativity, Student-Athlete Experience, Community Outreach, and Attendance;
Serve as a consistent presence at events associated with designated sports and programs to share the UVU story in compelling creative photo form accurately;
Create content that immediately grabs the attention of digital media audiences;
Deliver content that uniquely and creatively engages audiences to drive ticket sales and event attendance;
Foster collaborative relationships with campus stakeholders; Athletics Communications, Athletics Marketing, Athletics Corporate Partners and Community Outreach, Athletics Development and Wolverine Club, University Marketing, University Communications, University Photography Services, etc.;
Provide support at designated game days/events, including pre-game, in-game, and post-game activities and setup / takedown;
Continuously assess marketing strategies and apply industry practices for Revenue Generation / Ticket Sales, Fan Experience, Innovation / Creativity, Student-Athlete Experience, Community Outreach, and Attendance;
Create executive reports that outline campaign and program objectives, audiences, targets, and tactics, including end-of-campaign and end-of-year actuals against targets;

Qualifications / Licenses / Certifications
Must be a current UVU Student
Two or more years of work experience in photo shooting and editing.
One or more years of work experience in sports shooting and editing.
Must attend Mandatory Staff Meetings on Mondays and Wednesdays from 9:00 am to 9:50 am.
Office hours will be scheduled during regular business hours (9:00 am to 5:00 pm) and decided on between the applicant and supervisor.
Works on weekends, evenings, holidays, and flexible shifts.
Works indoors and outdoors (hot and cold temperatures, wind, rain, snow, etc.)
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite software, specifically Lightroom and Photoshop (knowledge of Premiere Pro, After Effects, Illustrator, and InDesign preferred).
Knowledge of camera operation, lighting setup, and photo editing.
Knowledge of production techniques, including photography, compression, and file delivery.
Ability to adapt equipment setup and provide alternative setup or workarounds if necessary.
Good interpersonal skills, judgment, and diplomacy are required to interact effectively with and provide customer service to a broad audience.
Ability to work independently and effectively in a collaborative team environment.
Ability to meet strict deadlines.
Effective time management skills.
