Position Summary

UNM Athletics seeks to hire Student Managers for the sports of Football, Men’s Basketball, Women’s Basketball, & Equipment Room. Duties and responsibilities of Student Manager will include:

Performing traditional student managerial duties (i.e. equipment, laundry, hydration, etc.)

Participating in limited on-court or on-field activities during practice (required and voluntary) involving student athletes or competition on a regular basis.

Manage team equipment, launder team equipment, and inventory team equipment as needed.

Observing and performing administrative duties during practice or competition (e.g., track statistics, run clock).

Performing administrative duties outside practice or competition (e.g., attend meetings involving coaching activities, analyze film).

Sit on bench and/or sideline

Travel with teams to away games.

Successful candidates may be work study eligible.
