Job Overview : The Study Hall Assistant position is designed for students interested in learning more about athletic academic support services and developing entry-level professional skills. Study Hall Assistants will provide essential support to SAAS's Study Hall implementation. Possible evening & weekend hours. Hours per Week: 10-20 hours per week. Normal Work Schedule: Sunday – Friday.

Start Date: August 19, 2024 End Date: December 6, 2024

Qualifications:
Must be a CCU Student. Minimum of a 3.00 cumulative GPA, ability to maintain a set weekly schedule, sophomore level or higher

Job Duties:

Assist SAAS Advisors with Study Hall including verifying Study Hall attendance/check in, enforce Study Hall guidelines, and verifying task completion prior to check out

Support Student-Athlete academic progress including outlining assignment instructions, offering academic support and study strategies, and communicating with SAAS advisors

Maintain Study Hall spaces including cleaning whiteboards/desks, stocking materials, and organizing rooms at end of Study Hall sessions

Attend scheduled workshops/trainings facilitated by SAAS staff members to develop skills and competencies for academic scenarios
