Recruiting

Meet weekly with head coach for recruiting update and status – get weekly schedule

Visit schools and attend games as assigned

Initiate contact with recruits

On-campus recruiting: assist with coordinating each visit, serve as tour guide, lunch

Keep track of all on-campus visitors on a spreadsheet provided

Attend, supervise and run practices as assigned by the head coach

Attend all assigned workouts and be prepared for practice

Offer coaching instruction as prescribed by the head coach

Prepare field for practice (scoreboard, equipment/balls, etc) OR delegate to team manager or student coach

Meet with the head coach at least 1 hour prior to each practice for prep, breakdown information and station assignments – come with ideas and ready to share!

Pre-Game Ops

Assist in analyzing and breakdown of opponent’s game film

Scouting reports as assigned

Assist with selecting starting line-up, game strategy and player rotations

Game Ops

Prepare all pre-game materials: scorebook, announcements and all stats to be tabulated

Keep stats/data during game as assigned and requested by HC

Manage players as they come off the floor and offer instructions and feedback based on team system of play and the requirements of their specific position/role on the field

Video Ops

Home games: oversee camera, ensure someone is filming each game/scrimmage

Upload game film into TeamXTream after each home game

Share scrimmages via Google Drive or TeamXTream site as needed

Create edits/playlists as assigned

Manage film exchange when necessary

Team Travel

Work with head coach in preparation for team trips

Organize meals for away games and coordinate all post-game meals within budget

Work with HC to develop itinerary for away trips (at least 48 hours in advance) to send to bus company and the team

General

Communicate schedule changes with team via GroupMe app

Assist with team branding and inventory: uniforms, locker room, travel gear and shoes

Assist with Senior Day, Alumni Day and other special event (Community Service)

Other duties as assigned

Professional Experience:

Required: Collegiate playing, managing, or student coaching experience and demonstrated leadership.

Preferred: Collegiate coaching experience; club coaching experience.
