Job Summary

The position is responsible for overseeing all phases of the video area to enhance the football program strategies.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

The Video Coordinator will assume the following roles:

• Researches and assesses new video graphic methods and technology
• Makes recommendations for new equipment and process enhancements, as appropriate
• Works with professional scouts to assist in the evaluation of the student athletes
• Works with representatives from other intercollegiate sports to evaluate video needs
• Develop and maintains inventory for video equipment, tapes, supplies, etc.
• Monitor recruiting logs, playing and practice season logs
• Be available to work nights and weekends
• Ability to travel with the football team during away games

• Performs other duties as assigned by the head football coach

• Typical indoor/outdoor environment

• Climbing, standing, lifting as needed

Qualifications

Minimum:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Telecommunications or related field
• One to more years of experience in videoing, media displays, etc. (may include graduate assistantship or experience as a student-athlete)
• Effective written/oral communication
• Must be computer literate
• Must have knowledge of NCAA Division 1 Bylaws Preferred:
• Master’s Degree
• Previous experience in intercollegiate athletics and/or an administrative assistant
