Job Duties & Responsibilities
The Video Coordinator will assume the following roles:
- Researches and assesses new video graphic methods and technology
- Makes recommendations for new equipment and process enhancements, as appropriate
- Works with professional scouts to assist in the evaluation of the student athletes
- Works with representatives from other intercollegiate sports to evaluate video needs
- Develop and maintains inventory for video equipment, tapes, supplies, etc.
- Monitor recruiting logs, playing and practice season logs
- Be available to work nights and weekends
- Ability to travel with the football team during away games
Performs other duties as assigned by the head football coach
Working Conditions:
Typical indoor/outdoor environment
Climbing, standing, lifting as needed
Qualifications
Minimum:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Telecommunications or related field
- One to more years of experience in videoing, media displays, etc. (may include graduate assistantship or experience as a student-athlete)
- Effective written/oral communication
- Must be computer literate
- Must have knowledge of NCAA Division 1 Bylaws
Preferred:
- Master’s Degree
- Previous experience in intercollegiate athletics and/or an administrative assistant
