Duties/Responsibilities
Assist with creation and social and digital media assets – including, but not limited to, static graphics, motion graphics and GIFs. Create static graphic templates for department-wide use Collaborate with sport liaisons to develop social media assets for each sport that reflects the tone of the platforms Work within brand guidelines to develop innovative, memorable content that is consistent throughout the department Develop content ideas for social platforms Assist in game day duties as assigned Stay up-to-date on current design and social media trends

Georgia Athletics is seeking a Visual and Digital Communications Student Assistant to assist the department’s efforts in creating a digital identity strategy that includes graphic and motion, graphic design, visual identity strategy, and social media strategy. The employee will work with the Director of Social Media Strategy and the Visual and Digital Communications Graduate Assistant to develop digital and social media assets for the 21-sport athletic department. The employee is expected to fulfill requests, while adhering to and assisting in the development of the program’s brand standards.
Software/Platform Skills: Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (including, but not limited to, Photoshop, After Effects, Illustrator, InDesign and Premiere. Working knowledge of social media platforms (including, but not limited to, Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.). Other Skills: Experience with photo editing, DSLR cameras.
Standing; moving; use hands to finger, handle, feel; and reach with hands and arms. Sit and talk or hear. Frequently lifting and/or moving up to 20 pounds.
