Assistant Coach will report to the Head Coach and assist in the planning, recruiting, coaching, developing, implementing, communication and administering of program to achieve University and Department objectives. Will be required to assist in the direction and control of the program in accordance with NCAA and University rules and regulations. | | Job Related Minimum Required Education and Experience |

Recruiting – implement a comprehensive recruiting plan. Identify and recruit athletically and academically qualified student-athletes to compete at the highest level of competition. Maintain open communication with Academic staff as it relates to student-athletes’ academic progress and any needs in that area. Monitor students’ adherence to study hall and tutor assignments, class attendance and APR progress guidelines for graduation and eligibility.
Maintain communication with team physicians as it relates to any injuries, rehab and overall safety and health of student-athletes.
