The Assistant Coach, Men's Soccer will be responsible for recruiting, administration and on field coaching of the men's soccer program. This Assistant Coach will work with the Head Coach to lead the men's soccer program and develop student-athletes both on and off the field.
Essential Functions
Serve as lead recruiting coordinator; Evaluate, contact and recruit potential student-athletes to the Men's Soccer program.
Instruct student-athletes on the techniques of the game, lead training sessions, advise Head Coach on game and practice strategies, analyze game and practice films.
Responsible for goalkeeper coaching or other specialized aspect of the game/sport.
Support the Achieve Center academic staff with monitoring the academic progress of men's soccer student-athletes.
Work with Business office to arrange travel for Men's Soccer team, operate camps and clinics in addition to alumni outreach and events to support the fundraising needs of the Men's Soccer program.
Perform other administrative functions as needed to operate and efficient men's soccer program that provides a positive and growing experience for the men's soccer student-athletes.
Assist the Head Coach in directing and effective varsity athletic program in all aspects.
Assist in the teaching, coaching, training, and motivating the program's student-athletes to perform at the highest level through organized and individual team sessions as deemed necessary and appropriate.

Required Qualifications
Minimum of Bachelor's Degree or the equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Minimum of 2 years of college coaching experience.
Strong video breakdown and analysis, organizational, communication and administrative skills.
Experience recruiting student-athletes at the collegiate level or the equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
Collegiate playing experience.
