The Assistant Director of Football Nutrition will serve as an expert nutrition resource for Nebraska Athletics’ football student-athletes, coaches and staff. Develop and present nutrition education in one-on-one settings and in team settings. Must be able to work a non-standard work week which may include nights, weekends, and holidays, and travel if needed with the team.

Must have either; Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition or related field or Master’s degree in Nutrition or Master’s degree with
DPD
requirements and be a registered dietician with 2 years experience as a dietician. Strong communication, interpersonal and team-oriented skills.
Master’s degree preferred. 2 years collegiate or professional sports or equivalent experience. Previous experience developing education materials. Experience working with special dietary needs such as disordered eating, diabetes, food allergies or other medical conditions.
CPR
certified and also ServSafe or Food Handlers Permit preferred.
