Stanford’s Department of Athletics, Physical Education and Recreation (“DAPER”) is the premier intercollegiate athletics program in the country. We are the proud Home of Champions! We lead the nation with 134 NCAA team championships, have won the Women’s Capital One Cup four of the last five years and have brought home the Learfield Directors’ Cup for 26 of the possible 29 seasons. We support nearly 900 student-athletes who compete on 36 intercollegiate athletics teams and also support the university’s physical education, recreation and wellness initiatives. Stanford Athletics tickets more than 100 regular season events for football, men’s and women’s basketball, men’s and women’s soccer, women’s volleyball, baseball, softball, and women’s gymnastics. In addition, Stanford Athletics tickets major tournaments and postseason events across many of Stanford’s 36 Division I varsity sports. Approximately 500,000 patrons attend ticketed Stanford Athletics events each academic year.
  

Summary of essential job functions:

  • Independently plans, organizes, administers, and implements all aspects of ticket operations for assigned sports, to include oversight and evaluation of ticket inventory/management, seat allocation and ticket delivery.
  • Conducts research and analyzes data to strategically design, recommend and implement comprehensive ticketing strategies to achieve organizational goals.
  • Design, implement and maintain reports and dashboards for survey results, ticket sales, ticket operations, and other areas as needed.
  • Process and monitor daily financial transactions, including researching and resolving discrepancies and chargebacks.
