---

First line of contact that ensures the overall professional services related to the golf experience for members and guests is superior.

• Assist head professional in day-to-day operations
• Provide golf instruction, assist in conducting golf clinics, tournaments and special events.
• Play with members and their guests. Continue to work on your game.
• Monitor scheduling system.
• Assist in making sure the golf shop is maintained in a neat and clean manner daily.
• Assist in the monthly inventory.
• Train student employees.
• Coordinate the receiving and pricing merchandise with the Professional Staff.
• Ensure the daily, weekly, and monthly procedures are being followed.
• Possess a thorough understanding of overall golf operation.
• Ensure that all golf shop supplies, and all reports are maintained correctly.
• Self-Starter
• Oversees golf car management, including, but not limited to, golf car staging area, bag drop service area, and golf car barn.
• Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

---

Required Education: High School diploma or GED

• 24 months of experience in a golfing environment

Skills :

• Able to communicate well and build rapport quickly with student, faculty, and staff
• Excellent professional customer service
• Knowledge of club rules

Certifications :

• Valid Driver's License to drive university vehicles

Advertised Physical Requirements:

• Able to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Able to stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to engage in repetitive motions.
• Exposure to extreme temperatures.
