Seton Hill University seeks candidates for the full-time position of Assistant Softball Coach.

Responsibilities

• Assist the head coach in the organization, management and coaching of a nationally competitive Division II softball program
• Assist in all areas of the recruiting efforts for the program
• Lead the identification and recruitment of local and regional prospective student athletes
• Assist in coordination of all on and off campus recruiting events and visits
• Oversee and manage the daily development of all pitchers in the program and assist in other technical areas (hitting, defense, baserunning, and game strategy) as needed
• Manage, develop, and maintain social media presence
• Manage ARMS compliance software and weekly CARA logs
• Assist with team travel coordination to include meals, hotels and transportation
• Assist with facility upkeep and maintenance

• Develop and maintain scouting reports on all opponents
• Assist with softball camp administration
• Promote and monitor student athlete academic success
• Support and model the core values of the program while mentoring student athletes

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree required
• Collegiate or professional playing experience
• Experience working with collegiate catchers and hitters are preferred
