Responsibilities

Responsible for assisting the Assistant Athletic Director/Turf Superintendent with the planning, coordination and execution of annual and daily programming and staffing of the athletic department owned and operated fields and courts.

Responsible for the day to day maintenance of specific Athletics field(s) and the associated spaces.

Provides guidance and direction to the staff involved in turf grass services and programs which may include maintenance, building and grounds, skilled trades, custodial or OPS staff.

Responsible for implementation of program goals, objectives, policies and procedures.

Work with coaches to develop turf management schedule that meets best practice standards and minimizes conflicts with scheduled events.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and four years of experience, or a high school diploma or equivalent and experience equal to eight years.(Note: post-high school education may substitute for experience at the equivalent rate.)
