The Associate Athletic Director for Football is responsible for coordinating all administrative duties for the football program.

Salary range: Compensation will be commensurate to selected hire's experience.

Position Details: Travel required. Nights, weekends and holidays as required to complete assigned duties.
Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree
Five years’ experience in athletic administration and football program operations
Preferred Education and Experience:
Master’s Degree
NCAA Division 1A Athletic Administration
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
General knowledge of NCAA rules
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to use word processing, spreadsheet and database programs
Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others
Interpersonal and communication skills and ability to plan and organize effectively
Responsibilities:
Daily Operations - Coordinate administrative duties for Texas A&M football, supervise office staff and support personnel.
Scheduling - Coordinate the scheduling of practices & facilities and supervise the daily operations of the football program.
Liaison - Serve as the liaison for the football program to all other departments within athletics, across campus, and all outside entities.
Public Relations - Serve as the representative of the Head Football Coach in his absence or at his discretion.
Growth & Development - Coordinate research and development related to football program.
Compliance - Follow all compliance regulations and keep accurate records to be used in any compliance issues. Compliance issues cover every aspect of the program. A firm grasp of the NCAA and Conference rules greatly benefits the program. Performs other duties as assigned.
