Job Summary

The Athletic Trainer will be a member of the Purdue Sports Medicine Department working under the supervision of Head Football Athletic Trainer and team physicians to deliver athletic health care for ‎intercollegiate athletes and athletic teams. 

What You'll Be Doing:

• ‎Provide service care given of emergency needs of student-athletes
• Provide immediate Rx rehabilitation for patients
• Provide supervision of returning student-athlete to athletic activity
• Provide appropriate documentation of care

What We're Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree or Master’s Degree from CAATE accredited athletic training education program
• 2 years’ experience in Sports Medicine, Physical Therapy and/or Athletic Training            
• NATA-BOC certification and ability to obtain Indiana Athletic Training License, Indiana Physical Therapy License if employee has Physical Therapy Degree
• Must adhere to and comply with Purdue University, Big Ten Conference, and the NCAA applicable rules policies, procedures, rules and regulations‎
