Essential Responsibilities and Duties:
Timekeeping: Manage the game clock, start and stop it at the correct times, and accurately track penalty times.
Penalty box management: Coordinate with the penalty bench attendants to ensure players serve their penalties correctly and are released on time.
Rule enforcement and support: Assist on-ice officials by ensuring official records are correct and supporting real-time decisions.
Qualifications:
Strong knowledge of ice hockey rules and procedures
Proficiency with specialized software for scorekeeping, timekeeping, and statistics
Ability to multitask and maintain focus under pressure
Compensation
The expected rate for this position is $15.50 an hour. Except for roles with a set rate of pay, the wage/salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty and training. The stated hiring rate/range represents the College's good faith and reasonable estimate of the rate/range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
