The Men's Lacrosse Coach is responsible for the overall coaching, planning and direction of Drexel's Division I Men's Lacrosse Program.
Essential Functions
Teach, coach, train and motivate student-athletes to perform at the highest level through organized team and individual sessions.
Prepare and organize training sessions to enhance team performance.
Ensure that the program complies with all institution, CAA and NCAA rules and regulations.
Select and successfully recruit student-athletes that meet the needs and growth of the program, department and institution.
Create and manage a program that retains, mentors, educates and graduates its student-athlete.
Communicate with all constituents of the program including staff, faculty, students, parents, alumni and friends.
Establish a strong foundation of alumni support and work to create an alumni board of directors to foster growth of the Drexel lacrosse community through fundraising and engagement.
Work effectively with administrators, staff and coaches within the department to operate program effectively.
Provide oversight of Assistant Coaches.
In conjunction with Athletics support personnel, develop systems for a successful in academics, strength & conditioning, business, development, marketing and equipment.
Manage all administrative tasks related to men's lacrosse program.

Required Qualifications
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience. (Please review the Equivalency Chart for additional information.)
Minimum of 5 years of experience.
Experience coaching and/or playing collegiate lacrosse.
Demonstrated ability to teach and instruct the skills and strategies of lacrosse.
Proven success mentoring student-athletes.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Valid Driver’s License.
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
Ability to run, climb.
Ability to bend, crouch, stoop.
