Job Description

Drew is a member of the Landmark Conference and has 25 intercollegiate sports that compete at the Division III level. The Drew University Athletics Department is seeking applicants for a fulltime Head Strength and Conditioning Coach. The Head Coach will report directly to the Director of Sports Medicine and Performance and the Director of Athletics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and oversee the execution of a comprehensive program for 25 varsity sports 440 student-athletes 
  • Works seamlessly with the sports medicine department to ensure best development of all student-athletes.
  • Facilitate a collaborative relationship among sport coaches, sports medicine, and sports performance staff
  • Educates and directs student-athletes and coaches on the proper techniques and safety standards of appropriate strength and conditioning best practices.
  • Manages master schedule for the athletic performance facility
  • Assure proper maintenance of equipment including regular inspection and repair/replacement as necessary
  • The scope of the position may require weekend, evening, and/or early morning work
  • Perform additional duties as assigned; duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without notice
  • Administrative responsibilities, which include budget management
